Farndale Mikado reprise done!
photo

This afternoon we reprised scenes from the "Farndale Mikado" at the 'Feel at home in The Hague" fair (http://www.thehagueonline.com/feelathomeinthehague). In spite of a lot of surrounding noise and no acoustics we did alright! And the audience seemed to like it. We also had an information stand where we greeted lots of expatriates who are interested in theater.

I also saw Paul Verhoeven's new movie "Zwartboek" ("Black Book") which was just released. It's the most expensive Dutch movie ever made and Verhoeven's first Dutch movie in a very long time, after his Holywood successes. I DID spot the scene I'm in, but it's gone if you blink your eye... Oh well, after Sydney Pollack at least I can now say that I appear in a movie directed by Paul Verhoeven!

The program for the Samahan Anniversary Gala seems to turn out differently, with only enough time to sing 3 songs each and the one duet with Alyss. So I'm rethinking my selections again...
