I had been secretary on the organizing committee of FEATS 2007 since its formation earlier this year. FEATS (Festival of European Anglophone Theatrical Societies) is an international 4-day drama festival that circulates amongst a number of European cities, and next year it is to be held in The Hague. The AATG will host it.

Now the chairman has had to withdraw for health reasons. And I've been asked to take over his position... So I'm now officially the new chairman of FEATS 2007! We had an important FEATS meeting last Saturday, with representatives from the international FEATS community coming from Belgium, Luxemburg, Germany and Sweden. After a succesful luncheon/meeting we all went out for dinner and talked theatre all night long...

Then the next morning I had to get up early as I was expected on the set of a new Dutch TV series entitled "Voetbal Vrouwen", modeled after the popular British series "Footballers' Wives". We were shooting at the Wassenaar Race Track  and after an indoor scene at a nearby restaurant we stayed at the track all day long. I'd never been to a race course yet, so it was a new experience for me. "Voetbal Vrouwen" will start airing in January. No idea yet when "my" episode will be broadcast.
